Room for rent

I have a room available in my home here in Ensley that I have resided for a year now. It's on a really quiet street, offering peaceful vibes!

I'm currently on the lookout for a new housemate who's clean, respectful, dependable, trustworthy,... easygoing, independent, helps keep our shared space feeling comfortable and harmonious for everyone. It’s ideal to have a reliable source of transportation at this location. Please note: It is only the room that is vacant, storage and closet space is minimal, as the house itself is already furnished.

A little about me: I'm a 34 years old male who works full-time, and starting back in college in the fall.

Before moving forward with a formal application, I will be conducting an interview with you. It's a great way for us to get to know each other a bit and see if we'd be a good match as housemates.

Regarding the finances: The monthly rent covers the room itself, but utilities and other shared household bills will be split 50/50. Good news from the landlord: if we commit to a two-year lease, the annual rent increase is capped at a very reasonable 5%, which offers some nice stability for both of us.

For everyone's peace of mind, a standard background check is part of the process. You'll find all the specific requirements and criteria in the pictures posted regarding the application.
